Bin rental in Nutana
Nutana is one of Saskatoon's oldest neighbourhoods, set along the east bank of the South Saskatchewan River around the Broadway district. Its character homes and mature lots drive constant renovation work — interior renos, plaster and lath tear-out, roofing, and basement and foundation projects on the aging stock — plus infill and teardown activity. Lots are often tight and tree-lined, so compact 4–20-yard bins are the practical choice, and placement is the key question. Saskatchewan adds GST plus PST on top of base and tipping fees.
Placement and permits
On Nutana's tight lots the bin often has to sit on the street, which requires a Saskatoon Right-of-Way (ROW) Permit under Traffic Bylaw 7200 — the bin must be in front of your own address on a local roadway, and since January 1, 2026 a physical permit copy must be displayed on it. Many operators arrange this for you. Self-haul loads go to the Saskatoon Regional Waste Management Centre at 42 Valley Road.
